Recognized as one of the best young teachers in the country, Cody has twice been recognized as the PGA Chapter Teacher of the Year, first in 2017 in the Hilton Head chapter and again in 2019 in the East Georgia chapter. In 2019, Cody was named to Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers in America list while also being a four-time U.S. Kids Golf Top-50 Teacher Honorable Mention and a 2019 Operation 36 Top-50 Coach.
The Cody Carter Golf app will provide students with an engaging, academy-like experience including a forum where students and Cody will share video, stories and interact on everything in golf; an on-demand library where Cody provides in-depth drills and instruction to help improve your game on the go; a student swing locker for filming & saving swings; 1-on-1 lessons including swing analysis, prescriptive drills and individual training plan; and access to in-person lesson bookings with Cody.
Growing up in South Georgia, Cody played all sports, but excelled in baseball and golf. After playing college golf, Cody joined the United States Marine Corps. Since turning pro, he has worked at high-end private clubs and public courses where he has worked with and learned from some of the best golf professionals the PGA of America has to offer. Cody has taught every level of player from beginners to Tour pros.
