In October, Golf Genius introduced Coach 360 to help golf coaches easily schedule lessons, enhance their teaching process, organize, and store lesson details and facilitate ongoing collaboration with students. “Golf professionals spend the vast majority of their time running golf tournaments, managing golf shops, and giving lessons,” said Mike Zisman, co-CEO of Golf Genius. “By listening closely to their requirements, we’ve now become the only software provider in the industry who meets all three of these needs.”
In early 2022, Golf Genius acquired Operation 36 Golf, an innovative beginner golf program for adults and juniors. Powered by proprietary cloud technology combined with a proven curriculum for developing golfers, Operation 36 is now used at more than 700 golf facilities, reflecting year-over-year growth of more than 25%. Twilight Golf Association, a managed service for golf leagues and another recent Golf Genius acquisition, grew rapidly in 2022 and now handles over 400 leagues with more than 10,000 participants.
Golf Genius completed its third year as the USGA’s software development and hosting provider of the U.S. central handicapping technology platform and GHIN services including an administrative portal for clubs and associations, GHIN.com, and the GHIN mobile app.
