Wayne, PA — Golf Genius Software (GGS), the leading worldwide provider of tournament management solutions, and England Golf, the governing body for amateur golf in England, have announced a multi-year licensing agreement appointing GGS as England Golf’s official tournament management software supplier. England Golf will now utilize Golf Genius TM Association to manage its entire calendar of championship events.
This decision by England Golf follows their approval of GGS as a software supplier licensed by them to support England Golf’s forthcoming implementation of the World Handicap System (WHS). Golf Genius Software has deep experience with the new WHS system, having worked closely with the USGA in their implementation of WHS which was launched in January.
Following a successful trial at the Men’s and Women’s English Amateur Championships in July, England Golf decided to adopt Golf Genius TM Association for all of its events, including the Brabazon Trophy and English Women’s Stroke Play. England Golf plans to leverage the software’s comprehensive range of innovative tournament management features, including the unique live digital scoring platform, to deliver enhanced event experiences for leading amateur golfers.
