Employees to Engage with First Tee Chapters Across the United States
Wayne, PA — Golf Genius Software, the leading worldwide provider of tournament management solutions, announced today a new program with First Tee, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids build character strengths and important life skills through the game of golf.
Under the new program, Golf Genius employees in the United States (including nearly 40 PGA Professionals on staff) will support First Tee chapters through volunteering, fundraising, recruiting peers to get involved, and providing other forms of assistance based on the unique needs of each local chapter. For any money donated or raised by a Golf Genius employee for their First Tee chapter, Golf Genius Software will provide a matching gift of up to $1,000 a year per employee. With nearly 50 US employees, this program has the potential to deliver nearly $100,000 to the First Tee network, which today is comprised of 150 chapters throughout the United States.
