Bringing Next Generation Lightning Prediction and Detection to Golf Facilities

Compared to traditional solutions that require the installation of expensive localized hardware, the Flash Weather AI Dashboard Alert System (Flash AI) is a cloud-based software service available for any location on a subscription basis at a much lower cost. Beyond simply detecting that lightning has struck within a given radius relative to a particular location, Flash AI predicts the first lightning strike in an approaching storm with 97% accuracy in summer and 99.6% accuracy in other seasons. Importantly, Flash AI also predicts the last lightning strike from an active storm with the same level of accuracy and indicates the earliest safe “all clear” moment after a storm moves through.
