Wayne, PA and Houston, TX – Golf Genius and the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA) today jointly announced an expansion of their partnership. Golf Genius is the leading worldwide provider of tournament management solutions used by over 10,000 courses, clubs, golf associations, and tours in over 60 countries. IAGA is a golf industry trade organization that represents nearly 90 golf associations throughout North America, whose mission is to advance the game of golf and serve those who play it by representing and developing those who lead it.
In 2022, Golf Genius and IAGA entered into long-term partnership under which Golf Genius continued as the title sponsor of the IAGA Annual Meeting while extending the title sponsorship to include the IAGA Distinguished Service Award, the IAGA Championship, and the IAGA Regional Meetings.
By 2023, IAGA had firmly established the regional IAGA meetings (held annually in January, February, and March) to complement the IAGA Annual Meeting (held annually in November) and provide IAGA members with additional networking and collaborative opportunities at the regional level.
In 2024, Golf Genius has increased their financial support of IAGA to help expand the regional meetings and provide more time for valuable social and network opportunities.
Chris Kallmeyer, Co-CEO of Golf Genius, said: “IAGA brings golf administrators together, including Allied Golf Associations (AGAs) in the United States, Provincial Associations in Canada, and leading tournament operators like the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), to share best practices, cultivate professional relationships, and celebrate the lifetime achievements of IAGA members. We’re excited to increase our support of the terrific work that Bill Walker and his team at IAGA have done to grow both the IAGA Annual Meeting and the IAGA Regional Meetings.”
Bill Walker, Executive Director of IAGA, added: “The IAGA is thrilled to expand our relationship with Golf Genius. Through their support, the IAGA has been able elevate the level of our educational and networking offerings via our in-person events. They are a wonderful partner and it is fantastic to see the support that they provide the IAGA and our community.”
