Bolsters Commitment to Golf Coaching Business with Proven Solution Used by More Than 500 Golf Coaches
Wayne, PA: Golf Genius and ThrivSports announced today that Golf Genius has completed the acquisition of the ThrivSports (Thriv) Coaching Platform and will serve and support the more than 500 golf coaches currently using the product. Thriv will continue to own and operate their popular Coach Marketplace, which connects golfers seeking instruction with coaches located around the US and beyond.

Golf Genius is the leading worldwide provider of tournament and golf event management solutions. The company also offers a golf shop operations platform that results in substantial productivity gains and enhanced member services. Last year, Golf Genius entered the coaching market with the introduction of Coach 360, which features scheduling, collaboration tools, lesson organization, video recording and integration with third-party technologies and software. The company also acquired Operation 36, a turnkey developmental and technology program used by golf professionals at nearly 1,000 facilities to teach beginner adults and kids the game.
Thriv’s sale of their Coaching Platform will enable the company to invest aggressively in Coach Marketplace and expand to other sports beyond golf.
