PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Golf Heritage Society (GolfHeritage.org) will hold its 51st National Convention Sept. 21-24 in Indianapolis.
“The GHS will host a memorable national convention in Indianapolis, with a variety of programs and activities for attendees to enjoy,” said Dr. Bern Bernacki, president of the Society, “including stories and tributes to Pete and Alice Dye, as well as an architects panel discussion – and plenty of camaraderie.”
Also featured will be two golf outings, at Eagle Creek Golf Club and The Country Club of Indianapolis; a cocktail reception and banquet, with keynote speaker Chris Wirthwein, author and Crooked Stick Golf Club historian; and the ever-popular GHS golf memorabilia trade show, with some of the world’s most fascinating golf collectibles available for trade or purchase.
The trade show, to take place on Saturday, Sept. 24, is open to the public at no charge, as is the PBA Galleries Auction on Sept. 21.
The GHS 51st National Convention will take place at the Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel, near the airport.
