Phoenix, AZ – The Marilynn Smith Founders Legacy Foundation, operating as Golf It Forward®, announces its Semi-Annual National Online Auction. The auction includes over 190 items such as historical artifacts, exclusive experiences, and holiday gifts. This event focuses on celebrating the history of women in golf and encourages participation.
Golf It Forward® represents the Marilynn Smith and Founders’ Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization honoring the original 13 women founders. These founders envisioned a future for women in golf and recognized the sport’s potential impact on women’s lives. Over the past seventy-five years, events like the Marilynn Smith Pro-Am and Shirley Spork Golf Tournament have contributed to promoting opportunities for women in this sport.
Golf It Forward’s events, including the annual Silent Auction, Sunday Tea, and Marilynn Smith Scholarship Pro-Am, continue this legacy. As a result, the foundation provides a number of American and Canadian high school female golfers committed to U.S. collegiate golf, with scholarships up to $5,000. To date, the foundation has supported 300 young women with $1.5 million in scholarships.
This year’s auction offers items for golf enthusiasts, including playing spots in the LPGA Epson Tour 2026 Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic and tickets to the 2026 LPGA Ford Championship. There are also opportunities to acquire pieces of golf history, plan a vacation, and more.
