Golf Life Real Estate Trademark Announcement
Golf Life Real Estate (www.golfliferealestate.com) a leading real estate technology services company dedicated to providing customers the best way to find, evaluate and select golf lifestyle real estate experts, has trademarked two of the golf and real estate industry’s hottest buzzwords.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has given initial approval that Golf Life Real Estate will soon be a registered trademark on “Golf Life Real Estate” and “Golf Lifestyle Concierge.” In legal terms, a trademark is used to identify goods or services as having a single source, according to intellectual property Attorney Steven Ngo.
But Ngo, noted that Golf Life Real Estate has registered both names on the less stringent Supplemental Register as opposed to the Principal Register. Companies that are approved for the Supplemental Register can use the “circle R” registration mark but do not have the greater legal protection afforded by the Principal Register.
“The branding and trademark rights to Golf Life Real Estate and Golf Lifestyle Concierge is a major step tied to our overall company strategy,” said CEO Paul Daly. “We do want to be the biggest player in the golf lifestyle relocation business, so we’re definitely going to continue to build around the intellectual property and the marks associated with it.”
Streamlining the relocation process is one of many services provided by Golf Life Real Estate. The company will also feature exclusive golf-centric listings posted by real estate agents; a For Sale by Owner category, golf courses For Sale; a golf real estate investment trust for high-net-worth individuals; short-term rentals in golf communities targeting “Snowbirds” and a treasure trove of golf content about golf communities.
GLRE, which is a registered real estate broker of record in four states – Florida, Arizona, South Carolina and Massachusetts – and its entire golf lifestyle amenities program launches January 20, 2019.
