Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces that they are hosting a webinar for busy Golf Professionals on Monday, July 25th.
This workshop “Achieving a Work Life Balance as a Golf Professional” will feature Operation 36 coach Monica Sanders, LPGA, who is the Academy Director at Buchanan Fields Golf Course in Concord, CA. Sanders will be joined by Operation 36 Co-Founder, Matt Reagan, PGA .
The webinar training will share the best strategies to grow your golf coaching career, while reducing the number of coaching hours. The pair will share tips to become more efficient and effective with the time in order to have a more balanced life off the course.
Many young golf professionals find themselves working over 40 hours a week, especially in the early years of their career to advance from the pro shop. With the Operation 36 program in place, many golf professionals are able to bring down their total working hours, while increasing their salary and improving the experience for their beginner golfers.
Sanders said, “I started with two classes and 10 students in 2019. I have pretty much doubled in size every semester! My Academy is now capped at 50 and will stay there until my child is older and I am ready to take on more.”

About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
