Tour Edge Exotics CBX 119 Hybrid Is GolfTalk Live May Product of the Month
Philadelphia, PA – Throughout scores of testings and reviews by the equipment experts in the golf industry, the entire line of Tour Edge Exotics fairway woods and hybrids has been receiving rave reviews.
But there is nothing like victories to add proven credibility to those reviews.
Newly signed Tour Edge Exotics staffer Scott McCarron recently rode the outstanding performance of his CBX 119 Hybrid to a win in PGA Tour Champions play at the Mitsubishi Electric Classic. It propelled him to a No. 1 ranking on the Champions tour.
As a result, the CBX 119 Hybrid has been selected as Product of the Month by the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show.
McCarron used the 19-degree model with a Project X Even Flow Black shaft, the same shaft that is available to customers as a stock offering in the CBX 119 line. The wire-to-wire win was the third victory on the PGA Tour Champions for McCarron since switching to Exotics in 2018.
“I put this Exotics CBX 119 in play and the reason I put it in play is it’s got a little deeper face,” explained McCarron. “I can hit it a little high on the face and the ball still goes straight without spinning too much. This has been the best hybrid I’ve ever played.”
Exotics CBX clubs have now been a part of eight victories and 11 runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour Champions since collecting the first win at the 2018 Chubb Classic. This means Exotics clubs have finished 1st or 2nd in 19 of the last 32 PGA TOUR Champions events (59%).
“I have been well aware of the quality of Tour Edge Exotics for years,” comments GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “But lately they have really stepped up to the highest level. The hybrids have really been making waves. The EXS hybrids are great for a wide variety of players. The CBX line was supposed to be for the top players but they are so easy to hit, even an everyday player like myself can get great results from them.”
During the month of May the story of the Tour Edge Exotics CBX 119 Hybrid will be displayed prominently on GolfTalkLive.net, the official website of the show. There will also be an informative interview with a member of the Tour Edge management team on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in all GolfTalk Live markets.
