GolfTalk Live Provides Expanded Coverage of 36th World Amateur Handicap Championship
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show once again will be providing expanded coverage of the World Amateur Handicap Championship from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
As has been the case for the last 13 years of the 36-year stretch for the World Am, GolfTalk Live is on the scene providing two full radio shows on either end of the World Am action, and daily written reports during the week of competition. The August 24 radio show will provide a preview of the week’s action. The August 31 radio show will provide a wrap-up of the week, including an interview with the grand champion.
The written reports will be the annual first-person account/confession from the competition by GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora.
“This annual attempt to win my flight becomes more and more futile each year,” says Leodora. “But people seem to enjoy the stories from the week of battle … as well as revel in my misery. One way or the other, I usually keep them laughing.”
The stories will appear nightly throughout the week on the radio show’s website – www.golftalklive.net. Just click the Blog button on the left side of the home page for the daily story. Each day’s story will be posted by 8 p.m.
GolfTalk Live can be heard on flagship station WNTP 990-AM, the 50,000-watt station in Philadelphia. Also, the show is syndicated and airs on WOND 1400 AM in South Jersey, plus on the two Southeastern Pa. WNPV stations, 1440 AM and 98.5 FM.
GolfTalk Live also can be heard any time following each show on its official website, www.golftalklive.net.
