Final Edition of Golfers’ Choice 2026 Joins Previously Revealed Lists, Including ‘Top 50 Public Golf Courses in the U.S.’, ‘Best Warm-Weather Golf Courses’, ‘Best Public Course in Each State’ and ‘Best Regional Golf Courses’
STAMFORD, Conn. – GolfPass today revealed the final edition of Golfers’ Choice 2026, unveiling six lists of top international public golf courses from around the globe, as chosen by recreational golfers.
The six international lists feature rankings from Canada, England, Great Britain & Ireland, Ireland & Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, shining a spotlight on the world’s golf courses for local players and those who love to travel. In Europe, the lists are broken down by individual rankings for England, Scotland, and Wales, while the Great Britain & Ireland list ranks the combined highest-rated courses of Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and Ireland. The Ireland & Northern Ireland list includes all the highest-rated courses from the entire “Emerald Isle.”

The Golfers’ Choice lists are generated by golfer reviews on GolfNow and GolfPass throughout 2025, determining the best public golf courses played by recreational golfers each year. Unlike golf course rankings published by industry insiders, the Golfers’ Choice lists are completely consumer driven – by recreational golfers, for recreational golfers.
