Masters champion, Gold Medalist caps off historic season with $25 million payday
Aspen, CO – GolfForever, the Official Golf Fitness System of the PGA TOUR and leading at-home golf training system that helps golfers play without limits, congratulates World No. 1 Golfer and 2022 and 2024 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler for capturing his seventh win of the season at the TOUR Championship. Scheffler’s victory helped him officially secure the FedExCup title for the first time in his career.
As a perk of leading the FedExCup Playoffs standings heading into the TOUR Championship, Scheffler started the week at 10-under par and then shot 20-under (65-66-66-67, 264) on the following 72 holes. His 30-under par total was good enough for a four-stroke victory, a fitting conclusion to Scheffler’s dominant season which – in addition to his seven official wins on the PGA TOUR – included a Gold Medal victory at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Scheffler led the field in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee (+3.4), Greens in Regulation (54 of 72) and Driving Distance (338.6 yards). He was second in Driving Accuracy (37 of 56 fairways) and third in Strokes Gained: Putting (+4.1). Winning the FedEx Cup earned Scheffler a $25 million bonus that pushed his season earnings to $62.2 million and also made him the first player to win seven times in a single season on the PGA TOUR since 2007.
SCOTTIE’S SECRET WEAPON
The World No. 1’s season was made possible thanks to the increased stamina and closing power he has gained by training with GolfForever before every round to maximize his hip mobility, strength, flexibility and ability to maintain his form from the beginning to the end of grueling tournament rounds.
“For Scottie Scheffler to cap off his extraordinary season with a dominant win at East Lake, it’s a true testament to not only his amazing talent and perseverance, but the consistent physical training and preparation with GolfForever he put in all season long,” says Jon Levy, VP of Communications and Strategic Partnerships. “We’re humbled as golf fans to have witnessed it, and proud as a brand to be associated with him. Congratulations to Scottie on showing all of us what’s possible when you combine exceptional talent with a body optimized for the game of golf.”
