Al Houara Golf and Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club: First Courses in Africa
Golfmanager is expanding into Africa with two prominent golf courses in their respective countries. Al Houara Golf Club in Morocco is an internationally renowned club located in a prime area on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, between Tangier and Asilah.
Managed by Troon International, this course has chosen Golfmanager following other Troon-managed facilities that already use the software in their daily operations, such as Las Colinas Country Club (Spain), Cocotal Golf & Country Club (Dominican Republic), and Royal Golf Club Bahrain (Bahrain).
Designed by renowned architects Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh, it features an 18-hole, par-72 course that offers a challenging and exciting experience for golfers of all levels, as well as a 9-hole course.
Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club, on the other hand, is a five-star resort located in the Ridgeways area, north of Nairobi, Kenya.
This hotel features 130 Victorian-themed rooms, all overlooking a stunning 7,277-yard 18-hole golf course, conveniently located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, catering to both tourists and business travelers.
Golfmanager’s all-in-one capability, along with its ISO 27001 cybersecurity certification has led both complexes to select the system that excels in 28 of the Top 100 European Resorts.
Turkey: A New Country Where Golfmanager Begins Operations
In southeastern Europe, Turkey is now among the more than 25 countries where Golfmanager is already operational.
Istanbul Golf Club is the first course in the country to use the 100% cloud-based, multi-device management software that is now used by over 300 courses worldwide.
The Turkish club is one of the oldest in Continental Europe, founded in 1895. It has a rich history that includes several relocations due to wartime conflicts. Now, as it moves towards modernization and digitization, it will start using Golfmanager to manage all its operations.
Daniel Sillari, co-CEO and co-founder of Golfmanager, stated, “We are delighted to expand our presence in new countries. This underscores that Golfmanager is a versatile software capable of serving any type of golf course worldwide.”
