ORLANDO, Fla. – GolfNow today announced a new partnership with DG Golf Management, owner and operator of three of the Myrtle Beach-area’s premier golf courses – The Witch, The Wizard, and Man O’War – connecting each to the millions of golfers who search for and book golf on GolfNow’s industry-leading , tee-time distribution platform.
“With a growing number of golfers preferring to book online, we’re excited to launch our new partnership with GolfNow,” said Claude Pardue, President and CEO of DG Golf Management. “The digital experience not only is easier and more seamless for our customers, but it also helps our staff focus more of our energies on customer service and creating enhanced experiences for our golfers.”
Each of DG Golf’s Myrtle Beach designs – designed by noted architect Dan Maples – provides a unique playing experience counter to what’s typically expected on South Carolina’s Grand Strand. The Wizard Golf Links provides an authentic Scottish atmosphere, highlighted by an 18-hole course that features a dramatic links-style landscape of rolling hills, plentiful berms, tall native grasses and gorse-like underbrush. More than 1.5 million cubic yards of earth was moved to create Maples’ vision for The Wizard, which starts with a clubhouse replicating Scottish ruins and overlooking a massive lake.
Although located 10 miles from the coast, Man O’War Golf Club is defined by its challenging water features. The par-72 course is built around an 80-acre lake and water comes into play on no fewer than 12 holes, creating narrower fairways and forced carries to encourage risk-reward decisions for a memorable round, no matter the score.
Located on more than 500 secluded acres between Myrtle Beach and Conway, S.C., is The Witch Golf Course, known for its green complexes that, although tricky, roll fast and true. There is plenty of variety throughout The Witch, with a front nine that plays through marshland and a back nine that is routed across rolling hills.
“We’re thrilled to welcome DG Golf Management’s unique Myrtle Beach golfing experiences to the GolfNow Platform,” said Rob Browning, Mid-Atlantic Area Sales Director, GolfNow. “As GolfNow meets the ever-increased consumer demand for more digital services, we’re looking forward to building on this winning combination to help them grow rounds and revenue.”
