GRAND GENEVA RESORT & SPA PARTNERS WITH GOLFNOW
Two Grand Geneva Golf Courses Join the World’s Largest Tee-Time Marketplace and Will Incorporate GOLFNOW’s Industry-Leading Technology to Help Manage its Operations
ORLANDO, Fla. – Golf technology and services leader GOLFNOW has announced a new partnership with Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, a four-diamond resort situated on 1,300 acres in the picturesque glacier-carved area of Lake Geneva, Wisc. Grand Geneva Resort & Spa’s two championship 18-hole golf courses, The Brute and The Highlands, are two of the most challenging in the Midwest and considered among Wisconsin’s best golf courses.
As part of the new relationship, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa will sell rounds of golf through the world’s largest tee-time marketplace – operated by GOLFNOW – as well as utilize GOLFNOW’s industry leading golf-course management technology to help improve operations at its two world-class golf courses.
“We’re excited to add GOLFNOW technologies to our facility to further enhance the golf experience at Grand Geneva. Our partnership with GOLFNOW will allow golfers access to exclusive offers and a more seamless golf-planning experience,” said David Hallenbeck, director of golf, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. “At Grand Geneva we make it a priority to offer golfers exceptional experiences and the newest advances in the sport.”
As an innovated technology company, GOLFNOW is constantly improving the way modern golfers and golf courses connect through the Web, email and mobile devices – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Grand Geneva Resort & Spa joins the nearly 8,000 golf course facilities in 24 countries around the world who currently benefit from the technology and services that GOLFNOW provides.
A premier Midwest vacation destination that has celebrated AAA Four Diamond status for over 20 consecutive years, Grand Geneva is the perfect getaway destination, featuring first-class accommodations with suites and villas and numerous on-site amenities including restaurants, a full-service spa, and ski slopes.
“At over 7,000 yards, our magnificently massive par-72 Brute course is one of the most challenging courses in the Midwest with its beautiful rolling terrain and prominent landscape features,” said Kyle Kunash, Head PGA Golf Professional at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. “Designed by Robert Bruce Harris, the course can appear to be intimidating but it allows golfers an opportunity to challenge their skills. Our Highlands course is a tighter, shot-makers’ course and encourages golfers to think and play more strategically. A Scottish-inspired, links-style course with scenic hills and lush Wisconsin landscape, our Highlands course was originally designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, and then later transformed by Bob Cupp. At Grand Geneva we make it a priority to offer golfers exceptional experiences and advances in the sport.”
In addition to the enhanced marketing services provided by GOLFNOW through its Plus service, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa also will incorporate the cloud-based G1 technology, GOLFNOW’s most popular golf course management platform. G1 will give both golf courses at the resort the ability to facilitate course operations, centralize revenue reporting and provide the facilities with cloud-based operational platforms to better manage both businesses – ultimately selling more rounds.
“Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is well regarded as one of the Midwest’s finest resorts, and its golf courses are well known already inside their Midwest footprint,” said Jerramy Hainline, vice president, sales, GOLFNOW & GOLF Advisor. “We are eager to start delivering results for the Grand Geneva team and our team is excited to see the adoption of our technology and best practices put into action. They have high standards at Grand Geneva and we are honored to align ourselves with their brand.”
Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts.
