PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Thanks to a mouse named Mickey, Orlando already is the tourism capital of America.
Thanks to a promoter named Marc, there is an effort afoot to make Orlando the GOLF tourism capital of America. Marc Bender is Managing Partner of GolfPac Travel, the company that brings thousands of golfers to Orlando … and other destinations … each year. He is a pied piper who brings golfers to their favorite destinations and takes all of the worries out of planning a complete golf trip.
For all of those reasons, GolfPac Travel and the Orlando area are the focus of the November episode of the award-winning Traveling Golfer television show.
“We know that the demand created by the new golf travel boom has put a premium on finding the right place and time for a golf vacation,” says Bender, whose expertise extends to every aspect of the golf industry. “We provide one-stop shopping, when it comes to planning a golf trip and nobody knows more about the myriad of golf courses and accommodations available in the Orlando area than our very experienced team at Golfpac.”
The latest episode of the Traveling Golfer visits top tier golf courses in the Orlando area such as Shingle Creek, Disney Golf, Bella Collina, Eagle Creek, Champions Gate, Hawks Landing and more. At the same time accommodations from the finest hotels to spacious private homes are explored in this episode.
“Orlando is such a huge area, with so many options, that it can be intimidating,” explains Tony Leodora, host of the Traveling Golfer television show. “Some people don’t know where to start, when it comes to planning a golf trip. After watching this show, golfers will know that the place to start is GolfPac Travel.”

As part of every Traveling Golfer show there is the additional feature, “Tech Talk”, hosted by Tour Edge Golf experts, such as President Dave Glod. With years of experience as a club maker, Glod presents an inside look at the research and development of high-quality golf equipment.
Responding to golfers’ never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world, well-traveled host Tony Leodora created the Traveling Golfer so he could take viewers on video trips to some of the most exciting golf locations. Four times in the last six years, the show has been honored as the No. 1 Golf Television Show in America in the prestigious International Network of Golf awards, presented at the PGA Merchandise Show.
The Traveling Golfer is a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 20 years of experience in televised golf. The featured destination stays on the website for one month, before being replaced by a new show. Alternate shows also air in a two-month rotation. All old shows are archived for continued viewing on the YouTube Network and on the home website, www.travelinggolfervideo.com.
