Auto Strokes Gained is a statistical measure of how well a golfer performs on each individual shot relative to professional player benchmarks. It’s a key metric for evaluating overall performance, and provides valuable insights into areas of strength and weakness. With the launch of Auto Strokes Gained, Golfshot is committed to improving, optimizing, and innovating golf statistical tracking and analysis for every golfer at every level.

Golfshot will leverage its proprietary Auto Shot Tracking technology on Apple Watch and later this year on Android Wear, to provide a unique Strokes Gained experience available to golfers worldwide. Golfshot partnered with Golf Intelligence last year to remap 28,000 golf courses to automatically collect data from the Apple Watch during play and remove the need for manual data entry.
