GolfTalk Live Selects Bridgestone Golf’s e12 Golf Balls as March Product of the Month
Philadelphia, PA – Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball-Fitter in Golf, launched the e12 family of golf balls at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show. The overwhelmingly positive response to the e12 launch, coupled with a successful consumer release in February has elevated Bridgestone’s latest offering to Product of the Month on the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show.
The new e12 family consists of two models; the e12 SOFT and the e12 SPEED. The players who fight sidespin challenges and swing the club less-than 105mph will opt for the e12 SOFT, while the e12 SPEED is intended for players with swing speeds greater than 105mph, optimizing accuracy off the tee.

The e12 series builds on Bridgestone’s legendary e-series, adding more distance and better accuracy to the three-piece constructed ball. The Active Acceleration Mantle is built with High Performance Polymer material that allowed Bridgestone to soften the ball’s core, thus resulting in increased thrust and higher initial velocity at impact. Both the e12 SOFT and e12 SPEED utilize Bridgestone’s Delta Dimple pattern, which lessens drag and optimizes aerodynamics.
“We’ve taken more than 12 years of ball-fitting data, using more than 350,000 in-person ball-fittings to pinpoint specifically what causes golfers to lose distance and accuracy,” explains Elliot Mellow, Golf Ball Marketing Manager at Bridgestone Golf. “We’ve applied that information to construct a 3-piece surlyn golf ball – tested extensively by our R&D engineers – that has minimized sidespin to provide ultimate forgiveness and has delivered the velocity needed to ensure maximum distance. We’ve learned that power not only comes from the core of the golf ball, but that we can use the mantle layer to boost distance as well. And that’s what we’ve achieved with the Active Acceleration Mantle inside the e12.”
