Tarpon Woods Golf Club’s Baseball and Golf Weekend Combine to Become GTL February Product of the Month
Baseball’s spring training is right around the corner. The crack of the bat … the warm breezes of Florida … and some time on the golf course. That’s one of the magic recipes for the overall sports fan.

Tarpon Woods has undergone a major renovation of the golf course and facelift of the clubhouse since the new owners took over in 2017. The course is open to the public.
“Back in the ‘70s and ‘80s Tarpon Woods was a well-regarded private club,” explains GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “George Steinbrenner was a member and many of the Yankees played there often. It was always a great layout. Now the new owners have improved conditions and are bringing it back to its former luster. The fact that a celebrity like Jan Stephenson is at the course often certainly helps to energize the club’s atmosphere.”
