Every year Golf Inc. releases their list of the top 25 most powerful people in golf – the people who by their position or influence, have the greatest ability to affect the industry in the next year. This year Assell comes in at #24 on the list, as GOLFTEC has grown to 220 locations worldwide with over 900 employees, including more than 500 PGA members and apprentices. GOLFTEC has given over 12 million lessons, including 1.5 million lessons this year alone.
The list is a who’s who of golf names with Professional Golfers Annika Sorenstam #21, Tiger Woods #19 and Jack Nicklaus #17. Others of note include Seth Waugh, CEO, PGA of America #8 and Jay Monahan, Commissioner, PGA Tour #4.
