GOLFTEC Conducts Largest Club Fitting Training in Company History, Debuts 2019 Product Lines from Leading Equipment Manufacturers
GOLFTEC – the world leader in golf lessons and premium club fittings – recently completed the largest and most advanced fitter training in the company’s 24-year history, with over 100 elite coaches from around the world converging at GOLFTEC headquarters for a weeklong curriculum on club fitting best practices and 2019 equipment product line education.
The summit focused on training coaches on further advances to GOLFTEC’s proprietary TECFIT® club fitting system and ensuring they are intricately familiar with the latest clubs from OEM partners. The latter was emphasized through sessions hosted by representatives from Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist and Mizuno, and prepared GOLFTEC coaches to offer the most complete and accurate club fitting experience to golfers of all skill levels.
“Our coaches are the lifeblood of our company, which is why it is crucial that they are the most knowledgeable fitters on the planet and have every tool at their disposal to provide the most precise and complete fittings possible,” says Joe Assell, Co-Founder and CEO at GOLFTEC. “As our club sales and fitting services continue to expand with dozens of new GOLFTEC Training Centers opening worldwide every year, our focus is to keep moving forward and these in-depth educational sessions are vital to our success.”
The expertise of GOLFTEC coaches across both teaching and fitting disciplines uniquely qualifies the company as the most comprehensive solution for complete game improvement. In addition, GOLFTEC’s partnerships with top club manufacturers means it can provide custom-fit clubs at prices that match the cost of major big-box retailers. This experience is a stark contrast to other premium fitters whose staff are not versed in areas of instruction, or that promote after-market customizations that increase cost to the customer.
The success of GOLFTEC’s approach has been widely recognized as of late with Golf Digest recently honoring 36 GOLFTEC Training Centers on its list of the “100 Best Club Fitters in America.”
Featured 2019 golf equipment now available in GOLFTEC training centers that coaches were fully educated on includes:
- Callaway Epic Flash drivers & woods, Apex irons, PM Grind wedges, Stroke Lab putters
- TaylorMade M5 / M6 drivers, woods & irons, Spider X putters
- Mizuno ST190 / ST190G drivers & woods, JPX919 irons
- Ping G410 drivers, woods & irons
- Titleist TS2 / TS3 drivers & woods, SM7 Vokey wedges
During the month of March, a GOLFTEC club fitting is only $100 at participating GOLFTEC locations. Additionally, GOLFTEC offers a Club Trade Up program to help offset the cost of new clubs. For more information, please visit https://www.golftec.com/golf-clubs/tradeup.
