Driven by increasing demand, new location has opened in the up-and-coming Northwest neighborhood of Nebraska’s largest city
OMAHA, Nebraska – GOLFTEC, the world leader in golf improvement, today announced it has opened its second center in Omaha, Neb., continuing the company’s U.S. expansion.
Situated in the burgeoning community of Northwest Omaha, the 3,300-square foot facility has five hitting bays, which allow members to be taught by the best coaches, practice with the latest technology and get fitted into the right clubs — a system that has helped GOLFTEC students around the world improve by an average of seven shots. The center is also equipped with a SAM PuttLab training area and OptiMotion, the innovative motion-capture system that has been used by CBS Sports on its golf telecasts this season, as well as SKYTRAK+ launch monitors, which gives coaches the data and insight to provide golfers with clear plans for improvement.
GOLFTEC’s first Omaha center is located on 114th Street, centrally located in the city, and continues to be one of the most successful in the company’s portfolio.
“We’re excited to expand our presence in Omaha, where we have such a large and loyal following,” said James Kinney, Director of Instruction for GOLFTEC Omaha and six-time Nebraska Teacher of the Year. “Our new center in Northwest Omaha allows us to help even more golfers improve their games and enhance their enjoyment in golf.”
GOLFTEC Northwest Omaha is staffed by a team of expert coaches, led by Kinney and Center Manager Jamie Stogdill, who has taught more than 30,000 lessons during his 16 years with GOLFTEC. The coaching team also features PGA of America member Joel Waters and PGA associate Casey Fitzgibbons, and the roster of students includes PGA Tour player Scott Gutschewski.
With headquarters in Denver, GOLFTEC now has 263 worldwide locations — with centers in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, South Africa and Dubai — and helps golfers unlock their potential with innovative instruction, informed by proprietary game improvement technology.
“We get excited about opening any new GOLFTEC around the world, because it means we get to bring more people into this great game and increase enjoyment in golf through improvement,” said Joe Assell, CEO of GOLFTEC Enterprises. “But a second location in a market is extra special, because it means the community has truly embraced us.”
