GOLFTEC Receives Over $96,000 in Donations for PGA HOPE
(ENGLEWOOD, Colo.) – GOLFTEC – the world leader in golf lessons and premium club fittings – received over $96,000 in donations for PGA HOPE, the flagship military engagement program of PGA REACH, through an auction, sponsorship of a veteran and special lesson and club fitting promotion that ran in conjunction with PGA National Day of HOPE and Veterans Day.
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a free, adaptive program that introduces golf to veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Since 2015, GOLFTEC has made giving back to military charities an annual tradition, and this year’s efforts mark the most successful campaign in company history.
“Our students, fans and enthusiasts are a passionate group, and we could not be more honored to help America’s Veterans through the great game of golf,” says Joe Assell, co-founder and CEO of GOLFTEC. “We greatly value the work and mission of PGA HOPE, and look forward to building upon this partnership for years to come.”
“GOLFTEC has gone above and beyond in their support for PGA REACH and our military Veterans,” says Ryan Cannon, senior director of PGA REACH. “This year was truly inspirational, and we are blessed to have such a meaningful partnership with one of the largest employers of PGA Professionals in the world.”
GOLFTEC continues to establish itself as the world leader in golf improvement, with more data on the golf swing than anyone else in the world, thanks to its award-winning SwingTRU Motion Study. The global GOLFTEC coaching team is comprised of experienced instructors who have graduated from GOLFTEC University – a multi-week certification program based around both a curriculum of mastering advanced training of golf swing mechanics and GOLFTEC’s proprietary technology used in all Training Centers. The majority of GOLFTEC Certified Personal Coaches are PGA Professionals who have taught thousands of lessons.
These same coaches also guide each student through GOLFTEC’s enhanced custom club fitting program. The TOUR-like fitting experience identifies optimal equipment for all skill levels with an array of clubhead/shaft options. Nearly 75 percent of those who have gone through a GOLFTEC driver fitting have gained an average of 25 yards over their previous equipment.
