GOLFZON To Participate in 5th USGA Golf Innovation Symposium in Tokyo on Wednesday, March 13

GOLFZON (www.golfzongolf.com) will participate in the 5th USGA Golf Innovation Symposium March 12-13 in Tokyo, Japan. GOLFZON Japan CEO Akihiro Konno and GOLFZON America CEO Tommy Lim will speak about the impact of golf simulators and bringing new players into the game during a Wednesday, March 13 session at the bi-annual gathering presented by the USGA in conjunction with the Japan Golf Association (JGA).

Konno and Lim make up a panel, moderated by Signature Group CEO Bruce Lucker, entitled, “The Reality of Simulators, How Indoor Golf Facilities Are Introducing Newcomers To The Game,” and will address how golf simulators are bringing the golf experience to high-density areas where people live.  Whether used as a social opportunity, a training device or for competition, simulators have been able to provide a popular complement to the on-course golf experience. GOLFZON, which owns the largest share of the global golf simulator market, will demonstrate the data and technology used by the company to engage millennials and introduce them to the game.

A GOLFZON simulator will be available for attendees to use during breaks in the symposium schedule throughout the two days at the Tokyo Hilton.

The USGA, in partnership with its official technology partner, Cisco, will stream the symposium live from Tokyo, with English and Japanese language versions. The GOLFZON session is scheduled for 3-3:30 p.m. (Japan Standard Time), on Wednesday, March 13. Japan Standard Time is 13 hours ahead of United States Eastern Standard Time.
