The entire resort will reopen incorporating Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ newly established CleanCare Pledge
LAKE GENEVA, Wis. — Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), will reopen the doors of Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and its on-site sister property Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark on Monday, June 15, 2020, with the introduction of the CleanCare Pledge, which ensures enhanced cleanliness and safety measures are in place for its guests and associates.
“Grand Geneva and Timber Ridge are ideal drivable getaways for guests seeking retreat opportunities close to home that give them the space they desire, with fresh air, outdoor activities, and plenty of private spaces,” said Michael R. Evans, President of Marcus Hotels & Resorts. “For the past month, we have been reexamining the guest experience, finding ways to make it safer and to ease any guest concerns so when our guests escape to our resort they can relax and immediately get into vacation-mode.”
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Marcus Hotels & Resorts has established the CleanCare Pledge that incorporates the best industry practices and protocols for operating our hotels, resorts, spas, golf courses, and restaurants with an enhanced focus on cleanliness, sanitization, and safety.
Key elements and examples of the CleanCare Pledge include:
- Introducing new processes and easy-to-use technology to create a low-to-no contact guest experience
- Incorporating social distancing into processes and various spaces
- Outfitting associates with masks and gloves, and making masks available for guests
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols that go beyond leading hospitality industry standards and CDC guidelines
