Greeley Country Club Investing $7.85 Million in Facility Improvement Program
Newly Renovated Fitness Center with Personal Trainers, Indoor and Outdoor Dining Facilities, and Kids’ Zone Headline List of Enhancements
Greeley Country Club, the longest-established private club in Northern Colorado, is proud to announce its Facility Improvement Program, designed to further enhance the club’s amenities. The project, which the club plans to complete by summer 2020, will create a more family-centric environment with activities that appeal to the entire family.
“The members and staff of Greeley Country Club have worked with industry professionals to create a family-centered club for all ages,” said Glen Droegemueller, President of Greeley Country Club. “The renovations take the best elements of the club’s first 100 years and add year-round amenities. We are very excited about what the future holds for our members.”
The Facility Improvement Program will create new indoor and outdoor dining facilities; a full modern fitness facility with personal trainers; golf simulators for social and professional instruction; a new pro shop; a kids’ zone; and a renovated pool with a splash park and outdoor bar.
“Everything we’re doing is geared to expand fun opportunities for the young families who are coming into the community,” said General Manager of Greeley Country Club Mike Fleig, CCM. “It is critical for us to get back to the roots of what people are looking for when joining private clubs—year-round programs and amenities that cater to all ages of the entire family.”
Z Design Group is helping Greeley Country Club realize its vision. Michael Olson, Principal & Design Director, said, “Fitness facilities, indoor/outdoor entertainment spaces, casual dining and social hubs—these are things that members and their families desire, they are what will sustain the club’s popularity well into the future. Providing fun options for everyone while connecting the outdoors to the built environment, with natural daylight through larger windows and the use of organic materials—this enhances the entire experience and makes it feel much more expansive, like a mountain resort.”
In addition to the new clubhouse amenities, the club will remodel the bunkers and tee boxes on the golf course.
