Rubino’s week at annual PGA Show starts with a bang in Skills Challenge Competition
AUSTIN, Texas – Greg Rubino, PGA, General Manager of Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif., was the overall winner in the Garmany Golf Skills Challenge presented by Sacks Parente, held Tuesday night at TopGolf Orlando.
Rubio scored the most points in the competition, which included a putting test and a sequence of target shots among 40 PGA professionals from across the country.
First prize was a Garmany Golf Bucket List Experience to Scotland and was presented with an official “J. Peterman action figure” from event emcee John O’Hurley. Top finishing pros each earned part of the $5,000 overall prize money.
