ST LOUIS, MO., — Drydots®, the new magnet-based golf accessory that helps keep gloves dry while on the course, will compete for several honors during the 2026 PGA Show’s Inventors Spotlight, announced HAK Golf President Joel Andersen.
Drydots will be showcased alongside some of the most innovative golf products at the PGA Show, January 20-23, 2026, in Orlando, FL and will be considered for the coveted “Best-in-Show” and other awards presented by the United Inventors Association.
Inside each Drydot is a powerful rare-earth magnet that sticks firmly to the metal bars of any golf cart. The face of each Drydot features a custom Velcro® surface that holds the tongue of any golf glove firmly in place at high speed, yet remains easy to pull or peel off. Using Drydots enhances air flow through the glove, speeding up the drying process in between shots. This extends the life of gloves by preventing the hardening that often occurs when gloves are allowed to dry after getting too saturated with sweat.
“Sweaty gloves are a common frustration for golfers, and traditional fixes—stuffing them in a back pocket or wrapping them around cart posts or handles—simply don’t work,” said Andersen. “Drydots are much more efficient and effective at keeping gloves dry, and we believe they will quickly become a staple accessory in many golfers’ bags.”

Innovation Meets Customization
Drydots are available in a wide variety of colors and designs, including state, city, and country flags; college and professional team colors; humorous limited‑editions celebrating golf culture; and other unique collections.
Drydots can also be customized with a golf course, tournament, or company logo and make for a unique and useful giveaway at scramble tournaments, corporate outings, or any special event. “There’s a sea of sameness when it comes to golf‑related giveaways and promotional items,” said Andersen. “We are establishing a much needed new category with Drydots and believe the level of logo visibility and engagement they offer along with their novelty and usefulness will make them a popular golf giveaway.”
PGA Show attendees can find Drydots in the Innovator Showcase and in Booth 3919. For more information about Drydots, please visit www.drydots.com.

About Drydots®:
The concept of Drydots popped into our founder’s head on a particularly hot and humid day in the Midwest while fumbling for the “least crusty” glove in his bag on the first tee. That evening, on the drive home from his local public course, while trying to block out a triple on 16, the idea for Drydots was born.
Inside each Drydot is a powerful rare-earth magnet that sticks firmly to the metal bars of any golf cart. The face of each Drydot features a custom velcro surface that holds the tongue of any golf glove firmly in place at high speed yet remains easy to pull or peel off. Using Drydots enhances air flow through the glove as you drive, speeding up the drying process in between shots or holes. Drydots also helps extend the life of gloves by preventing the hardening or “crusting” that occurs when gloves are allowed to dry after getting too saturated with sweat.

About Our Founder
Joel Andersen
Joel’s golf journey began at age 11, while watching Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus battle at the 1982 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. No one in his family played golf, he had never step foot on a golf course or held a club, yet something clicked that day—he knew this was a game he wanted to pursue.
His family encouraged his newfound passion, buying him a set of junior golf clubs and frequently driving him to Benson Municipal Golf Course in Omaha, Nebraska. There, Joel spent countless days chipping and putting on the practice green from morning until night. His dedication caught the eye of the local pro, who offered him a job cleaning carts, the clubhouse, and bathrooms. In return, Joel was allowed to play for free—a deal he gladly accepted.
Throughout his youth, Joel worked at several courses, eventually landing at Omaha Country Club where he caddied, served as a bag room attendant, picked balls on the range, and worked his way up to starter—while also competing on his high school golf team. The opportunity to interact with countless accomplished and inspiring individuals through golf made a lasting impact, and provided positive influence and guidance during a pivotal stage of his life.
After earning a marketing degree from the University of Denver, Joel built a successful career as a product management and marketing executive in the healthcare industry. Yet the pull of golf remained. In 2023, he stepped away from the corporate world to pursue his lifelong dream: founding his own golf company and creating innovative products for fellow golfers everywhere who share a similar passion for the game.
