PGA of America’s Top Educator, Joe Hallett, Joins SwingU
HARTFORD – SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today that one of golf’s top coaches and educators, Joe Hallett, has joined SwingU’s Master Faculty.
Having recently received the 2018 Horton Smith National Award given to the PGA of America’s top educator, Hallett has been a two-time PGA Tennessee Section’s Teacher of the Year as well as ranked the #1 teacher in Tennessee by Golf Digest in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Hallett also served on the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game from 2006 to 2013, was voted the #8 best instructor by Tour Pro Vote in 2015 and was recognized as a Golf Magazine Top-100 Teacher (since 2011) and Golf Digest 50 Best Teachers in America (#40).

His diverse achievements include PGA Lead Instructor of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and the PGA Master Professional Checkpoint Faculty; Chairman of the 2011 PGA Teaching Coaching Summit; and a former host and producer of the popular “The Golf Show” on Sportstalk Radio Network. Currently the Director of Instruction at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, Hallett teaches some of the best golfers in the world, including Hall of Famer Julie Inkster, 2012 Rolex player of the year and former world #1 Stacy Lewis and 7-time major champion and former world #1 Inbee Park.
