Quick.golf’s Harvey Silverman to Moderate TechCon General Session
Loyalty rewards programs and the technology that drives them
Quick.golf co-founder Harvey Silverman returns to the NGCOA Technology Conference to moderate a general session on loyalty reward programs and the technologies that make them work for golf courses.
“Last year’s TechCon was a remarkably huge success, and I’m looking forward to participating again this year,” says Silverman. “The concept of loyalty programs is not revolutionary, and we’ll focus on reward programs rather than member or “players club” buy-in programs. The challenge with loyalty rewards programs has been implementing them successfully. Technology enables efficient management of these programs along with some peripheral benefits.”
Silverman continues, “I’ll be joined by three of golf’s technology leaders: Matt Welliver of Chronogolf, Tom Robshaw of Club Prophet, and Jason Wilson of Gallus Golf. All three have different takes on loyalty reward programs with their respective technologies and will display choices for those in the audience. I’m looking forward to sharing insights both technological and philosophical about why golf courses seriously need to consider implementing a loyalty rewards program, if they haven’t already. As well, I’m looking forward to another successful NGCOA TechCon in Las Vegas October 11-12.”
About Quick.golf LLC: Quick.golf is golf’s contribution to the convenience revolution pioneered by services like Open Table and Lyft. Pay-by-hole golf is not new but using technology to pair golfers who don’t have enough time to play a full round with golf courses that offer pay-by-hole makes it a viable way for many courses to promote and generate incremental revenue. Our web app is easy to implement and manage and is finding its way to both advanced-thinking course operators, and to golfers whose lifestyles demand an alternative to play the game.
