Garner, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their June #StartGolf. This live online Golf “Prep Course” guides new golfers to become confident beginners. The goal is to empower the participants to get comfortable enough to play their first 9 holes or join their local golf coaching programs.
The first #StartGolf class launched in May, and it was a huge success. Participant Becky McKay said, “For many reasons…I did not become interested in golf until just recently. At 67 years of age, I thought learning a bit about playing the game was a lost cause! But this online class was just the thing to peak my interest!”
McKay continued, “We live on a golf course, my husband LOVES the game and this program has given me the start I needed to go further. My husband even ordered a small red golf bag for my putter, my wedge, a 7 iron and a few more clubs I have left to learn about! THANK YOU!!”
#StartGolf consists of 4 live online classes and digital resources for the participants. They are led by the nationally recognized coaches at Operation 36 headquarters who will not only provide education, but also concierge and mentorship services for participants as they begin the sport.
From answering on-going questions and booking their first tee time, to getting cost effective equipment, all participants will walk away confident the next time they are asked to go play golf or participate in a program.
#StartGolf is now enrolling for their June Cohort of beginners! For more information, or to enroll, go to: www.StartGolfToday.com
Operation 36 is committed to the mission of creating 1 Million Golfers over the next five years. #StartGolf is designed to be a channel to attract and connect beginners from all over the world to begin to play golf.
