Heather Angell, PGA Director of Instruction at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek in Naples, Florida, has been named one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in the State of Florida for 2026-2027. Every two years, Golf Digest asks the top instructors to vote on the best teachers in each state.
“It is an honor to be selected by my peers as a Golf Digest Best Teacher in State,” Angell said. “I am constantly improving my teaching skills and work hard to help my students improve their games and enjoy golf more.” This is Angell’s first time on the list.
Angell was also named South Florida PGA Southwest Chapter Teacher of the Year in 2025, for an unprecedented two years in a row (and the third time in the past five years). She won the 2024 South Florida PGA Professional Development Award, the 2021 South Florida PGA Player Development Award, and the 2019 South Florida PGA Southwest Chapter Player Development Award.
