Upper Arlington, OH — Mike Hendrix, founder of smbGOLF and host of the Tech Caddie podcast, will appear as a featured guest on a live episode of Club Caddie Chronicles, today April 15, 2026, where he will share practical strategies to help golf course operators get started with artificial intelligence. Register for the webinar, free of charge HERE.

Golf course owners, operators, and managers are encouraged to attend the live session, which is designed to deliver real-world, immediately actionable ideas for using AI across marketing, operations, and customer engagement—without requiring a technical background.

Hosted by Club Caddie, the session will focus on simplifying AI and helping attendees identify where to begin.

“Most operators don’t need more theory—they need a starting point,” said Hendrix. “This session is about showing where AI can save time today and how to take the first step without overthinking it.”

In addition to strategy and concepts, the session will highlight real tools that operators can begin using immediately, including platforms such as Claude, Looper, Text-to-Web, Fyxer, and ChatGPT, among others. Attendees will see how these tools can be applied in practical scenarios across golf operations.

Attendees will learn:

  • Where AI is already impacting how golfers discover courses
  • Simple ways to improve visibility through website structure and Google Business Profile optimization
  • How to automate common communications with golfers
  • Practical tools that can immediately reduce workload for staff

Hendrix will also explain why AI is quickly becoming a critical part of golf course discovery.

“Golfers are starting to ask AI tools where to play,” Hendrix said. “If your course isn’t positioned correctly, you may not even be part of the conversation. That’s a real risk—and a real opportunity.”

The live format will allow participants to ask questions and walk away with ideas tailored to their specific operation—whether public, private, or municipal.

This session is part of Hendrix’s broader effort to help the golf industry adapt to rapid changes in technology and golfer behavior. His work with smbGOLF focuses on helping courses modernize their digital presence, implement structured data strategies, and make smarter technology decisions.

Registration is encouraged for all golf industry professionals looking to better understand AI and how to apply it within their operation.
