STAMFORD, Conn. – Tiger Woods returns to professional golf for the first time since the Masters at this week’s Hero World Challenge at Albany Golf Club in The Bahamas on NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.
HERO WORLD CHALLENGE
The Hero World Challenge – hosted annually by Tiger Woods – will be held from Albany Golf Club in Albany, Bahamas, with Woods making his first professional appearance since competing at the Masters in April. The field consists of 20 of the top players in the world including Scottie Scheffler (World No.1), Viktor Hovland (World No. 4), and Max Homa (World No.7). Hovland is looking to win this event for the third consecutive time after beating Scheffler the last two years.
Live tournament coverage begins Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. GOLF Channel and Peacock will have Saturday and Sunday lead-in coverage, leading into live coverage on NBC and Peacock.
In addition, Tuesday’s 10 a.m. ET edition of Golf Today will provide live coverage of Tiger Woods’ annual press conference as tournament host.

DP WORLD TOUR: INVESTEC SOUTH AFRICAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The Investec South African Open Championship will be held at the Blair Atholl Golf & Equestrian Estate in Lanseria, Johannesburg, South Africa, this week. One of the longest-running national championships in the world, this is the 113th playing of the event. The number one-ranked amateur golfer in the world, Christo Lamprecht, headlines the field at this week’s event. The six-foot-eight South African native is a two-time NCAA All-American at Georgia Tech.

The DP World Tour travels to Sydney, Australia, this week for the ISPS Handa Australian Open from the The Lakes Golf Club and The Australian Golf Club. Both the men’s and women’s tournaments are being played on the same courses at the same times.
