High Heat’s New 257 + Line of Clubs Named GolfTalk Live November Product of the Month
Philadelphia, PA – Five years ago the High Heat brand burst onto the golf market with a revolutionary driver. It was created by Dean Knuth, the inventor of the USGA Course Rating and Slope Rating Systems. Knuth was the first to design premium clubs to optimize the performance of amateurs instead of Tour pros.
With a novel center of gravity (“CG”) – 25 percent deeper and 18 percent lower than major brands –High Heat’s driver was longer, straighter and more forgiving than all major brands and named the “best” driver for amateurs by many members of the golf media.
That driver proved to be the beginning of a revolutionary line of clubs. High Heat’s fairway woods and hybrids followed shortly and again were named “best for amateurs” because they had titanium faces for more distance and forgiveness than all major brands which offer steel faces in their metal woods.
Now High Heat has introduced its next generation of clubs for amateurs – the High Heat 257 +. The improvement on the original model comes with the introduction of the new 3-Trampoline Technology. This new technology takes the philosophy of designing clubs specifically for amateurs and advances it further.
For this reason, the new line of High Heat 257 + clubs has been named the November Product of the Month on the GolfTalk Live radio show.
“From the debut of High Heat, inventor Dean Knuth has amazed the golf industry with his revolutionary technology,” says GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “And he continues to improve on the original concept. Since amateurs hit outside the center of the face approximately 50 percent of the time, this novel 3-Trampoline Face Technology is the most revolutionary technology for amateurs since the introduction of titanium faces almost 25 years ago.”
The theory behind the High Heat 257 + clubs came about as a reaction to new regulations. The USGA adopted a new rule that permits higher trampoline values for more ball speed and more distance when an amateur hits outside the center of the driver and metal wood faces (commonly referred to as the “sweet spot”). These higher trampoline values permit the same distance on off-center hits as center hits. Amateurs receive help where they need it most. The net result is that the High Heat 257 + average trampoline values, outside the center of the face, actually are higher than the maximum permitted in the center of the face.
“The major brands have continued to offer drivers and metal woods with significantly lower trampoline values outside the center of the face,” concludes Knuth. “This is why amateurs continue to lose so much distance on approximately 50 percent of their tee shots and metal wood approach shots.”
During the month of November, the High Heat 257 + clubs will be displayed prominently on www.golftalklive.net, the official website of the show.
Purchase a Knuth Golf club during the month, and receive 30% on a High Heat 257+ Driver and 25% off High Heat 257+ metal woods when you mention Golf Talk Live or Traveling Golfer.
