As a way of honoring the memory of their friend and former PGA Staff Professional, Jarrod Lyle, Nexbelt® announced today that they are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of all Jarrod Lyle Memorial Series belts and straps to his wife, Briony and children, Lusi and Jemma.
Sadly, Lyle passed away last week after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Lyle’s signature bright yellow hat and belt were his way of bringing awareness to the disease that he was battling along with so many others.
This week at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield CC, PGA Tour Players William McGirt, Cam Percy, Stuart Appleby, Matt Jones, Rod Pampling and others will be wearing yellow Jarrod Lyle Memorial belts to honor the memory of their friend.
“We were very saddened to hear the news that Jarrod had passed,” said Eddie Rowland, Co-Founder of Nexbelt. “He battled so hard and refused to give up right until the very end. But anyone who knew Jarrod knows that he would prefer we celebrate the life he lived rather than mourn the life he lost.
