Tinley Park, IL – Bettinardi Brand Advocate, Sam Horsfield, won his third DP World Tour title at the Soudal Open over the weekend, making Horsfield the first professional golfer to win with our new INOVAI 8.0 on tour. Sam putted his way to a -13 final score just two weeks into his return to the tour, making this his first win since coming back from a three-month break due to injury.
Sam put forth a considerable putting performance all week, tallying 19 birdies over four rounds, including 4 birdies on Sunday to seal the tournament victory.
This is the first win for Horsfield while using Bettinardi’s new INOVAI 8.0 putter.
“We’re so proud of Sam’s impressive accomplishments at such a young age,” said Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf. “With this recent win, we’re really starting to see what we know he’s capable of and that he is truly poised for greatness. We can’t wait to see what is in store for Sam’s future and we’re just happy to be a part of it.”
With this victory, the 25-year-old is now ranked 9th on the DP World Tour Standings, and moves to number 64 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Sam is set to play at the PGA Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma this week. This latest victory brings Bettinardi’s total to 97 worldwide tour wins since 1998.
