Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next Educational Roundtable workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their Ladies Golf Programs.
This workshop “How to Introduce Ladies to Golf with Op 36 Bootcamps” will feature special guest Sara Griffin, PGA, who is the Director of Instruction at Griffin Golf in Sumner, WA.
Griffin coaches beginners, collegiate and elite golfers. She will share her experience with Introducing Ladies to Golf through the Operation 36 Bootcamps. Griffin said, “We started our own business in 2017 and had very few students… now we are limiting our academy to 72 students and charging an annual fee.”
She said, “Ladies love the curriculum as well and are really liking the Bootcamp that we offer to beginners which allows them access to our clinics. The ladies in the clinics love going and playing together from their Operation 36 yardage. We use bootcamps for all beginners.”
The workshop will be hosted online, on Thursday, March 24th at 1:00 p.m. EDT. It is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
Space is limited, and those who are interested may grab their seat through this free registration here.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
