Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces that they are hosting a webinar “How to Quickly Launch a Successful Developmental Golf Program this Fall” for Golf Professionals on Tuesday, June 28th.

This webinar will feature Operation 36 coach Katie Hamilton, PGA of Emerald Lakes Golf Course in Elk Grove, CA.  Hamilton became an Operation 36 coach in March of 2020, and has created a thriving program, working with over 400 golfers in the past two years.

As many golf courses across the country are packed with summer camps and clinics, many golf coaches will be hearing the question, “What’s next after the summer camp?” from families. Operation 36 has answered this question with a popular 8-week fall academy that golf professionals can use to pilot the program.

Operation 36 Co-founder, Matt Reagan, PGA, will be on hand to share more about this program and how golf professionals can retain those summer campers into a weekly program in the fall.

Katie Hamilton said, “Operation 36 has not only gained course revenue, it has the biggest retention rate for our golfers. It has given a great golf program for everyone in the family– Junior and Adult.”

The workshop will be hosted online, on Tuesday, June 28th at 2:00 p.m. EDT.  The webinar is open to both Operation 36 coaches, as well as coaches who are not in the program.

Space is limited, and those who are interested may grab their seat through this free registration here.

About Operation 36

Operation 36 is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box.  Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform.

The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
