Phoenix, AZ – The I GOT THIS Foundation today announced that an I GOT THIS® Discovery Golf Clinic will take place at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican LPGA Tour event in Bellair, Fla, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
The I GOT THIS Foundation is one of 32 organizations across the U.S. to receive a Gainbridge® Assists Powered by Parity grant. These grants aim to level the playing field and expand access to sports and education for girls and women.
This partnership will bring together two golf leaders, Annika Sorenstam and Amy Bockerstette, an adaptive golfer and disabilities advocate who co-founded the I GOT THIS Foundation. During the 2019 WM Phoenix Open, Bockerstette made par on TPC Scottsdale’s renowned 16th hole during a practice round alongside PGA Tour pro Gary Woodland. This remarkable moment was captured on video by the PGA Tour and immediately went viral, with an estimated 60 million views to date. It also inspired Bockerstette and her family to pay it forward for other families and launch the I GOT THIS Foundation, with a mission to promote golf instruction and playing opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

“We take great pride in seeing a Gainbridge Assists recipient emerge on the global stage through The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican,” said Mike Nichols, Chief of Sponsorship Strategy and Activation at Group 1001 Insurance, parent company of Gainbridge. “Thanks to Amy and her dedicated team at the I GOT THIS Foundation, women of all ages with intellectual disabilities will enjoy a professional and engaging introduction to the game of golf.”
“Since our inception, we have been dedicated to promoting inclusion through golf, hosting clinics, camps, an online instructor’s course, and the I GOT THIS Championship,” said Tracy Hupko, Executive Director of I GOT THIS Foundation. ”It is rewarding to witness organizations such as Gainbridge, the LPGA, and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican embrace our mission and partner with us to make golf accessible for people with an intellectual disability.”
Open to participants 13 years of age and older with an intellectual disability, the clinic will be led by professional golf instructors who guide participants through a variety of stations to discover the joys of golf in a safe and welcoming environment. Participants will learn fundamental golf techniques and practice putting, chipping, and full swing activities. Each participant will bring a playing partner, an adult who plays a key role in the athlete’s life. This partnership enhances communication, provides ongoing guidance, and builds a bridge to future golf opportunities. Bockerstette will attend as a special guest and participate in a demonstration on the range at the start of the clinic.

Equipment is provided, and previous golf experience is not necessary. Participants will receive an I GOT THIS swag bag, Thursday grounds access to the tournament, and valet parking. Check-in begins at 2 p.m., with the clinic running from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
