BOURBON, MO – Imperial, the #1 headwear brand for private and resort golf facilities for eight consecutive years as ranked by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM), and the top headwear brand in the combined on- and off-course retail golf channels according to Golf Datatech, proudly announced its support of the adaptive golf community as the Official Headwear and T-Shirt Provider of the 2025 CDGA Adaptive Open.
Held June 21-22 at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Ill., the second annual Chicago Adaptive Open brought together elite golfers with physical and intellectual disabilities to compete in a 36-hole championship for a purse of $15,000. Among the field’s inspiring performances, Ford Martin (Nashville, Tenn. / Neurological & Coordination Impairment) emerged victorious, claiming the overall title in a thrilling sudden-death playoff.
“The CDGA is proud to be a part of the growing adaptive golf movement,” said CDGA Senior Managing Director of Business Development, Mike Gilligan. “We were excited to welcome the adaptive golf community back to Chicago, and grateful for partners like Imperial who share in our mission to make golf more inclusive.”
As part of its sponsorship, Imperial provided premium headwear and t-shirts to all event participants. This contribution reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting inclusive and accessible golf experiences, helping elevate the competitive environment while celebrating the spirit of the game.
“Imperial is proud to support the CDGA Adaptive Open and help champion a game that’s inclusive, competitive, and inspiring. We believe in creating opportunities for all golfers to play, compete, and thrive,” said Jerry Biag, Director of Marketing at Imperial.
