Indian River Preserve Golf Club Hires Director of Food & Beverage
Indian River Preserve Golf Club – the Dye Designs and Jan Stephenson gem nestled on Florida’s Space Coast – has hired Jeremy Brun as its new director of food & beverage.
Originally from Ohio, Brun comes to Indian River from Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia, a fellow Billy Casper Golf-managed facility. Prior to Oglebay, Brun received a degree from Orlando Culinary Academy and served as executive chef for The Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio for eight years where he built his appreciation for impeccable service, quality ingredients and the culinary arts.
“I am incredibly thrilled and humbled to be joining Indian River Preserve Golf Club and return to the sunshine and beaches of Brevard County,” says Brun. “Over the years I have picked up many tips, techniques, and methods from a wide variety of my professional peers and I find myself more passionate about my future than I’ve ever been.”
A focus for Brun and his team will be Andrei’s Restaurant at Indian River. Brun’s specialty is fresh fish, so guests can expect to see plenty of seafood being incorporated into the menu in 2020, with new offerings set to debut on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Brun also looks forward creating a personal relationship with all guests through wine tastings, beer tastings, dinners and more events to be held at Andrei’s.
“We are so fortunate to have Jeremy and his culinary talents joining our team at Indian River,” says Ryan Andrews, general manager of Indian River Preserve Golf Club. “Our team looks forward to offering guests a premier place to eat and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels like family.”
