INDIAN WELLS GOLF RESORT RECEIVES THREE PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS
Over the last 90 days Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, Calif. has collected three major golf industry awards, including being named “California Golf Course of the Year” by the California Golf Course Owners Association (CGCOA). Announced in late October at the CGCOA’s annual meeting, Indian Wells Golf Resort was selected by the CGCOA as “Golf Course of the Year” for its excellence in course quality, water stewardship, ownership and management, newly enhanced amenities, and impact on the community.
In addition, following a $1 million dollar, two-month renovation in the summer of 2019, Indian Wells Golf Resort’s VUE Restaurant was named a Golden Fork award winner “Most Improved – Public Golf Course” by Golf Inc. magazine. Golf Inc. annually recognizes the golf industry’s top dining facilities with its Golden Fork awards in their January/February issue.
Most recently, Indian Wells Golf Resort was named a 2020 Platinum Award winner by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM). The AGM is an international professional association of golf-related merchandisers and vendors headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. The AGM’s Platinum Awards recognize premier golf shops from the private, public, resort and off-course sectors. 2020 marks the third time in the last four years that Indian Wells Golf Resort has been honored as a Platinum Award winner by the AGM. All award winners were recognized at the AGM’s Annual Retail Conference in Orlando, Fla. on Tuesday, January 21st.
“It’s an honor to be recognized on a state and national level for our efforts to deliver an incredible product to guests,” said Indian Wells Golf Resort General Manager Steve Rosen. “We have an incredible team of professionals in every department – from our incredible golf operations and agronomy teams, to our fantastic merchandising and F&B teams – we appreciate and commend them for their hard work and dedication in making Indian Wells Golf Resort the very best.”
