Indoor Golf Alliance Announces Indoor Golf Standards Advisory Board

August 30, 2026

Eight industry leaders join newly formed board to guide equipment standards, safety, and best practices across the indoor golf industry

The Indoor Golf Alliance (IGA) today announced the formation of its Indoor Golf Standards Advisory Board, a new panel of industry leaders who will help shape and guide the direction of the indoor golf industry.

Drawing on decades of combined experience across golf facility ownership, simulator technology, retail, and event management, board members will advise the IGA on equipment standards and industry direction, with the goal of ensuring the indoor golf industry remains safe and free of substandard equipment. The board’s guidance is intended to give indoor golf operators confidence that the equipment they use meets a consistent standard of quality and safety.

“This board brings together some of the most respected operators, technologists, and sales leaders in indoor golf,” said Phil Immordino, President of the Indoor Golf Alliance. “Their insight will help us set clear, practical standards that protect operators and players alike, and that strengthen the credibility of our industry as a whole.”

The Indoor Golf Standards Advisory Board will work alongside IGA staff and members on an ongoing basis, reviewing equipment and best-practice guidance and providing feedback on standards as the indoor golf category continues to grow.
