The professional association for the indoor golf industry will open Licensed Chapters in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the Nordic region, extending its membership, education, and sponsorship network beyond the United States for the first time
The Indoor Golf Alliance (IGA), the professional association serving the indoor golf industry, today announced the launch of its International Chapters Program, extending IGA membership, education, and sponsorship opportunities to indoor golf operators, instructors, and enthusiasts outside the United States for the first time. The program will begin with Licensed Chapters in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the Nordic region.
The expansion comes as indoor golf and simulator technology adoption accelerates worldwide. Markets with limited outdoor golf access due to climate, land cost, or population density have seen rapid growth in indoor facilities, and IGA’s International Chapters Program is designed to give operators in these markets the same professional community, education, and sponsorship access that IGA has built for the U.S. market.
“Indoor golf has become a global category, not a regional one, and the industry needs an association that reflects that,” said Phil Immordino of the Indoor Golf Alliance. “Launching Licensed Chapters in these five regions lets us bring facility owners, instructors, and enthusiasts around the world into a single professional network, with local leadership on the ground and the full backing of IGA’s education, marketing, and sponsorship programs.”
Initial Chapter Markets
IGA will open Licensed Chapters in the following regions as part of the initial rollout:
United Kingdom — building on one of the world’s most established indoor golf venue markets, with hundreds of simulator lounges and training academies already operating across the country.
Canada — extending IGA’s home-market presence north, where cold-weather seasons have driven strong and growing demand for indoor and simulator golf.
Australia — supporting a fast-growing network of franchised and independent indoor golf venues across the country.
South Korea — partnering with the world’s most mature indoor golf market, home to thousands of simulator venues and the technology companies that pioneered the category.
Nordic Region (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) — serving golfers and operators across Scandinavia’s short outdoor season with a single regional chapter.
What Chapters Offer
Each Licensed Chapter operates under the IGA brand and is run by an approved local lead, with support from IGA global including use of the IGA logo, a dedicated chapter website page, listing in the global facility directory, newsletter and webinar content, monthly outreach to local facilities, and speaking opportunities at IGA and partner industry conferences.
Facility owners, instructors, and industry vendors interested in getting involved with a chapter in their region — or in becoming a chapter lead — can learn more at https://www.indoorgolfalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/IGA-International-Chapter-Program-Flyer-2.pdf
