Live session on Oct 28, 2026 gives indoor golf facilities a step-by-step playbook for turning charity tournaments into repeat revenue

The Indoor Golf Alliance (IGA), the professional association for the indoor golf industry, will host a live webinar, How to Find, Sell and Host Charity Golf Events, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The session is built for indoor golf facility owners, general managers, event and sales staff, suppliers, tournament planners and nonprofit teams.
Charity golf tournaments are one of the most reliable sources of group business in golf, and most are still held on traditional courses. Indoor simulator facilities can offer these events something a course can’t: no rain-outs, no green or cart fees, a 3–4 hour format, built-in food and lounge space, and live on-screen scoring that welcomes non-golfers and sponsors alike.
The webinar walks attendees through the full event cycle in four parts:
- Find: where charity clients are, from past bookings to local nonprofits, civic groups and AFP, MPI and ASAE chapters
- Sell: an eight-step sales process, all-inclusive event packages and answers to the most common objections
- Host: a six-phase planning timeline, a four-hour run of show, staffing and on-screen sponsorship tiers
- Grow: seven ways to earn more per player and how to turn one event into a multi-year client
Attendees will also learn about IGA resources, including the new Certified Indoor Golf Tournament Planner (CIGTP) program, the IGA Operations Manual for producing a charity tournament indoors, and staff training.
