ING Spring Conference Requesting Social Media Marketing Speaker For ING Talks Concept In May
The International Network of Golf is seeking a Social Media Marketing speaker for its ING Talks program at the 29th Annual ING Spring Conference. The conference is set for May 19-23, 2019 at the SEVEN Sebring Raceway Hotel, formerly the Chateau Elan Hotel and Conference Center in Sebring, Florida.
The non-profit International Network of Golf, the industry’s only media-based networking organization, conducts this annual gathering of media and golf companies and leaders. ING is “where the media and golf industry connect.”
Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to join ING and attend the conference. Call 407-474-0531 for details.
ING Talks is structured similarly to TED, a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks of 20 minutes or less. But ING Talks has a narrower focus on subject matter. The objective is to provide conference attendees (media and industry leaders) with helpful information they can utilize in their own businesses and careers in regards to Social Media Marketing.
That is the true essence of ING, whose members come together to help each other flourish in the golf industry. ING is about information sharing, education, product exposure and relationship building.
What ING Talks is NOT, is a commercial for products or services. While speakers can selectively use examples of their own company, service or product to make their point, they can’t use the time as a sales pitch. There are other elements of the conference built for that.
ING is looking for speakers with expertise in the most current trends in Social Media Marketing. It is required that all ING Talks Presenters be registered attendees at the conference.
To receive a Proposal Worksheet so you can submit your idea for ING Talks, go to http://inggolf.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/ING-Talks-RFP.pdf, or email mike@jamisongolf.com, or call 407-474-0531. Proposal deadline is March 21.
The ING Conference Assistance Committee and ING Staff will review the proposals and determine who will present at this year’s Conference.
If your topic is chosen, you will have up to 20 minutes during Wednesday educational sessions at the conference, to deliver your ING Talks message. Following your talk attendees will be asked to complete evaluation forms that will provide feedback to you.
The ING Spring Conference will feature a full schedule of networking and educational events:
- ING One-On-One Appointment Show: This is a series of 15-minute, private meetings between exhibitors and attendees.
- ING Demo Lab: Attendees test the latest equipment, training aids and instructional tips on the range and putting green.
- EDUCATION: Sessions include the Entrepreneurs Panel, Generational Marketing, Social Media Marketing and more.
- GOLF: Various golf tournaments will be conducted, both in team and individual formats.
- NETWORKING: Several networking sessions are planned, including the Opening Night Welcome Reception at Rafter T Ranch and the Tuesday Night Banquet.
Plus, at this year’s conference there will be an extended stay program on Thursday May 23, with golf, attraction tours and drag racing at the famed Sebring International Raceway.
